Replacement UPVC windows & doors & painting of external render.

Object:

On principle we object to the use of uPVC in buildings in the conservation area, particularly where they are visible from the street as they are made from non-traditional materials and production of new uPVC has a poor environmental impact. We would prefer that they were replaced with energy efficient wooden windows in this location.

We do accept that the building does not enhance the conservation area and is in poor condition due to lack of maintenance so the proposed replacements would be a slight improvement in that sense but would not enhance the Conservation Area.
